Elaine Kingett is a writer.

After BA Hons in Fashion at Hornsey School of Art, she started her writing career on Honey magazine in the 1970s and has worked in every aspect of the fashion business in the UK, Europe and USA.

A PPA Highly Commended Writer of The Year, she has been a feature writer for Woman&Home magazine for twelve years. She has recently completed an MA in Professional Writing at University College Falmouth and is writing her first novel about the 'derangement of widowhood' and the heightened sexual awareness of women after bereavement. This year she has launched Parents & Babies Creative Writing Classes in Stoke Newington in London and in 2013 will introduce women’s walking and creative writing retreats in Spain and France. Dates will be announced later this year.

She lives in North London.
